FAQ
What do I need to do upon arrival in Serbia for my immigration status?
We presume you have organized accommodation (and if you do not – let us know, we will assist here too with an array of partners and possibilities), and if so, within 24 hours you need to obtain a white card. If you are staying at a hotel, then the hotel is obliged to register you with the authorities. If you are staying at private accommodation, the owner of the property needs to accompany you to the municipal police station for registration.
NOTE: Every change of residing address must be registered with the authorities. If you travel outside the borders of Serbia, you need to register for a new white card upon each arrival.
ADVICE: Please note that by law foreign citizens should have their white cards and passports with them, we suggest you always have a scanned copy of your white card and passport for identification if not originals with you.
RELOCATION SERBIA: We can assist you in finding and booking accommodation or short-term stay as well long-term property search and inspection prior to your arrival or upon arrival.
Can I bring my family with me to Serbia on a work visa?
Yes, your immediate family would have to apply for a grouping of family visa which is usually processed at the same time as your work visa.
NOTE: For family dependent visas you will need your certificate of marriage and birth certificates of your children. We advise you to have them issued and ready.
ADVICE: Notarized translations are necessary, and our team will happily work with you on the pre-arrival document lists and preparation.
RELOCATION SERBIA: We will make sure your application process is smooth and stress free for your family members, and where possible apply on your behalf.
